Home Studio Newbe Midi

New member
I am new new midi and wondering how I can experiment with Home Studio 2004 and MIDI without buying a keyboard.I play guitar and have been using it to import and learn songs.(Audio).I was looking at the Piano view but dont know how to get any sounds out Any and all help would be appreciated.The help files included are useless.

AFAIK Homo Studio 2004 supports DXi's. You can set up a DXi Midi & Audio track. Then go to Piano Roll View on the midi track. Whatever you program there should be heard through the DXi audio track.

You can use the bundled Dyad(?) DXi for starters.

(BTW, I think the Bluesmeister did a tutorial on the Dyad. Do a search for him and Dyad and that should be very helpful to you.)
