Keep in mind that the nature of this proposed studio, would be primarily, but not limited to, live recording.

Geez, it seems that a post that asked this same exact question was posted just a few weeks ago. It had something like 20 replies. Maybe you could go and check it out. You may need to reset the preference for how many days back will show on the opening sceen for a forum.

if i had $10,000 to spend on a studio i'd order a tascam four track cassette from musician's friend, pick up some microphones at radio shack and spend the rest of the money on drugs and prostitutes...
