Because of my situation, ie: Full time job and young family, I just don't get the time to frequent my mate's studio to write and compose my music....... frustrating stuff!!
What, (and remember to write in 'lamen' terms please), do I need at home to successfully write, compose, mix and record my tracks to CD quality??
I recently spoke to someone who suggested 'Yamaha XGWorks', which has everything, as an affordable solution. My PC has the capability to run this sort of software, so would this, along with a quality soundcard and my Korg be enough, or do I need other stuff to accompany it?(mixing desk?? other plug ins???)
I just need decent, affordable sequencing software with sampled sounds plus mixing down capabilities so that I can get my songs to a good recording standard.
ANY SUGGESTIONS ANYONE?
