i posted ages ago about this. im going to set up my own recording studio in my house, mainly for recording drums. im thinking this is what i need...
2 condesner mics for overheads
a bass drum mic
stands and cables etc...
a decent soundcard, or even a box thingy type soundcard (yes im an idiot...we have one at college...its like a box, it connects to the computer and has all the imputs in and stuff)
software - im thinking cooledit
a decent set of headphones
is there anything ive missed?
and also, more importantly...could someone please recommend to me what equipment would be best for this, and some prices and where i could get them from (i live in the uk).
im on a buget really...not a specific amount, but i want to be able to have the basics now so i can upgrade and stuff for the future. for just basic good quality drum recording, thats all i want right now.
