so i bought the Waves Renaissance Max bundle. holy shit. the renaissance reverb blows my mind. i would have paid 300 bucks (price at guitar center) for that alone. it blows my mind. so, if anyone is debating whether or not to get the bundle... its awesome. and not only the reverb, all the plugins sound so great.

i know it probably sounds like im spamming... im not. im just excited about new toys... :p
 
I've got my PTLE rig coming in the next few days - I take it that the Ren verb blows the DVerb away? I've got an outboard reverb that I'm planning to use (my Korg D16) but would be interested to hear your opinion of the stock PTLE plug.

I agree. While I don't like the verbs as much as some hardware units, I LOVE the compressors.

its like comparing behringer and neve... there is no comparison. the Dverb is the WORST sounding plugin i have ever heard, and i think most would agree with me. there might be some instances where it would sound cool... but that would totally be for "effect" and not a good reverb... like if a client said, hey, i want the reverb on my voice to sound like shit. then you would unviel the Dverb. but in most cases you wont ever look back. trust me man, its worth it. there is no comparison.
