Hmmm Im kinda confused w/setup

Well, actually Im gonna have a computer/digital studio. Well I was going to get some preamps, and compressors and everything and use them and record onto my digital Yamaha AW4416 and then I want to transfer them onto my computer so that I can edit them andd add effects and stuff to the vocals... Well in order to do this, how can I set my yamaha into being able to send into my comp?? I mean will there be a usb cable place?? Also, could someone plz recommend what types of machines I need?? I mean like compressors, pre amps, mixers etc. Thanks so much!!

I am not sure about the number/type of outputs of the Yamaha AW4416......

In order for you to transfer music/information from the Yamaha AW4416 to the COMP you'll need to run a cable/s.

Depending on the amount/type of OUTPUTS to INPUTS, that will dictate the number/type of cables you'll need.

I will let another one of our members explain to you what I mean (I am very tired and inebriated, I DJ'ed at two clubs tonight W/mucho drinks flowin').
