Ok this is not a joke I have a real question so give mea real answer. Ok, iam am a homosexual rapper/producer. Iam from New Orleans Louisiana and mostly I have been producing for the homosexual acts out here. Lady Red, Miss Tee, and etc. My only question is that I have a hard time crossing over. I don;t want people to look at me just because iam a homosexual, because iam a human to. SO can you tell me what straight Hiphop cats are really looking for when it comes to a producer, so sexuality really matter

THanks

man, that is some funny shyat. i didn't know lady red and ms. tee were homosexuals. new shyat to me. anyways, i'm from the n.o. so don't come on here giving us a bad rep man. you could have been more tastefull and asked what type of beats thugged out, underground, mainstream, east coast, west coast people like, it would have been better than the question you asked. if you were trying to be funny it worked. if you would have mentioned dj jubilee as your homosexual artist i would have believed you.;) i met ms. tee, she talked me out of signing a deal with cash money when she was on the label. at the time it was cool, now, i'm kicking myself in the ass.:(

Hey jugalo180 since we are both in the same area do you think it would be possible for us to hook up (business wise). If so Pm me so we can schedule it. And any other producer u can massage me also

TomandJerry ---

If you wanna impress HIP HOP cats, be yourself, make some hot beats, and be verbally impressive, cause if not, first thing they will do is LOOK AT YOU LIKE ---WHAT THE HELL

but think: EMINEM (white boy) who thought

he stayed true to himself, murdered people lyrically, and coming across the top producer made it that much more incredible, and now, no one can touch him.

There will always be someone to criticize, but it takes a talented person to stand up and prove to people -- what you got is HOT

yeah man, the post had me rolling like "is this thread starter for real?"

come on guy you know I meant to type message and not MASSAGE!

what does creating music have to do with you being homosexual
as a producer what makes your beats yours , well that's all you'll ever have to build on ... And if you've been playing your instruments for a day or two you'll see that some notes are inspiring whereas others aren't , so i don't get it

what do you mean crossing over where do you need to go? given that you're already on the scene making tracks for some acts around your way
if you are not liking your beats go back to the lab Destruct Reconstruct do what got you started in this Expensive Hobby

btw- my response would have been the same if it was a Lady asking how to crossover to the Man side ( that was my perception of his question)

basically do what you do and be who you be

but bypass the fake inquisition

Welcome to the forum

Very true.

People listen for good beats and music, not who you sleep with - they're not gonna have anything to do with that regardless of sexuality.

Do what type of music you do and just get it out to whoever you can. If people like it then they like it. If they don't, go and work some more.

iS D. DRE. straight what about primo,or swiss or rockwilder. You don't know...naw you dont care. They shit is just that hot. If they came out and said they was would you not buy a beat from them still.

As long as you aint trading sex for production work who give a dam if you are gay or straight. Is you shit hot is all they gone care about.

Here is an example:
Take Blue bear(not even talking bout his sexual pref so dont go there or you will get roasted) He aint the most polite or politically correct guy when giving advice. he is quite blunt to be exact but. But yet instill people know that and still solicite his advice. why? because HE KNOW WHAT THE HELL HE IS TALKING ABOUT. that blunt shit dont matter are you strong on your game is all any body cares about.
(no dis inttended BB)

yo personal life is yo business MUSIC is the business

what does you being a homosexual have to do with producing music?

as long as your tracks are straight and not gay, then it's all good ;)
