Change of POETS "Iceberg, no offense homie, but we aren't building Pro Studios here. We're building HOME Studios here..."

I didnt see anything in his post about what type of studio or price range, did you? I just responded to the question. If he asked me what pre under $1000, sure I would have told him to buy a RNP or even a Eureka.
IME with hiphop the voxbox is where its at. thats it.

Change of POETS "There's a Mic Pre out right now, that's won a bunch of awards for the "Best Pre Under $1000" and crap like that... it's only $149 or something like that... I forget what brand it is."

I dont know this. though I would most likely buy one if ya tell me.

Sorry to sound brash. I didnt mean a ounce of harm or hurt.

Nothing harsh intended here either homie, you just didn't read the entire thread before adding your opinion.

He stated he had about $600 for a mic pre... it's in his second post. That tells me he's building a Home Studio (also considering the name of the website is HomeRecording.com ;) )and can't afford a $3500 mic pre...

I mean shoot, if I could afford a better mic pre, and a better mic, I would go all out but, 95% of us here can't do that.

I'm still looking for the name of the mic pre that's gotten all the awards... I'll find it.
