'Hindustani' - no, let's call it "hot Thursday night music" !!

'Hindustani'

the name, is simply an easy way to track the basic vibe of this particular part of a long instrumental....

this is another short section from a 67 minute long instrumental i've been adding tracks to, in a collaboration with False Haruspex, you can find them here:

the visual should be along these lines.....
"feel is dark overall - 'bitches brew' style fender rhodes throughout various parts of the 'hindustani section'.....this also included the previously released 'apocalpyse now' snippet"


it's not finished, there's a lot more to add still...
but i posted it cuz i like the feel of it stripped down, but it is a work in progress.

Hey Gonzo-X - more choice licks sir....

Whammy is cool - especially when it gets close to the edge....

Your licks are reminiscent of some Beck stuff I've heard.....cool.

Nice use of effects on the guitar.

Cool sustain on the fade. Mix is crystal clean...

So is this coming out as one long 67 minute cd sometime?

that sustain thing, was a happy accident...

sometimes, when the air is just right, certain notes just happen, and you just have to ride the wave!

YEah man thats some cool shit right there, I'd love to do something like that, a 67 minute tune... right on....I'd love to hear the whole thing when it's done for sure!

i just sent off a dvd with 2 gig's worth of 24 bit files....
man, those damn tracks were long!!

i'll re-visit these posts somewhere down the road, when those guys have had a chance to hook up with the rest of their 'collaborators'

it's cool, doing something like this, with different musicians from all over the place..
these guys are in british columbia, i'm in salt lake....
i've done collabs with guys from florida, england and Belgium!
