HI Z input

Hi, I'm using a Yamaha AW16G Audio Workstation. Could anyone clarify which input should be used when plugging in an electro acoustic guitar that has a built in preamp (powered by a PP3 battery). I understand that electric guitar and bass with passive pickups should input through the HI Z input, but as electro acoustics have a preamp, does this mean the tone will be affected or that there will be too much gain from using the HI Z input? No. The acoustic still puts out a high impedance signal, and is looking for a High-Z jack. You'll still get better results using real microphones, though.-Richie
