Hi guys - me my gear and my ambitions

my first post
these are my first videos
i will post videos after but soon

I buought an hd camera and i set up a tent as chromakey behind

those video are made with mac book pro 3,1 camera and beringher guitars > boss GT6 > xenix 802 mixer > mac os X > garage band
using mac book pro audio card (i have a very low delay)
ok now, i would like to improve my homerecording gear
my actual gear is

FENDER STRATOCASTER '76
JACKSON RR1 STANDARD WHITE
CHARVEL JACKSON 375 DELUXE

MUSIC MAN STINGRAY BASS

PEAVY JACK DANIELS ACOUSTIC GUITAR

MARSHALL JCM 900 HEADER AND SPEAKER
MARSHALL JCM 2000

BOSS GT6 STOMPBOX

ZOOM 707II

BEHRINGER XENIX 802 MIXER

SOFTWARE: GARAGE BAND, IMOVIE, SOUNDCONVERTER
MAC OS X.

I MISS ONE AUDIO CARTRIDGE AS AN M-AUDIO 410 AND MAYBE 2 BHERINGER SPEAKER FOR PC.


first question is an M-audio 410 cans help me to record, is that better than my mixer directly on pc?

I'm trying guitar rig this could help me, how to record?
Do I have to swicth from garage band to logic pro?
Does is It usefull to use impulse reponse space designer?
i have to buy some new pedals or my gt6 can help me enough?
for pedals i though to blackstar dual ht

I think you have other things to worry about before you get into designing a custom space for your Logic reverbs, which I assume is what Space Designer does...

I only knew because I was curious as to WTF the OP was talking about so did a bit of googling... :laughings:

I can't imagine ever being good enough at this that I'll be worrying about that level of reverbing! :eek:

guitars (my 3 guitars)
connection ( I will buy M-audio 410)
cp (my mac book pro)
software for ttrack (garage band)

still to decide
if use boss gt6 or line 6 m13 or the balckstar hd dual

i will not connetct my marshall to this...

Well I will admit all the words are English - but the meaning still alludes me - Does guitar rig help you record? I still don't what your asking - even if you are talking about the plug-in Guitar Rig - im not sure what you mean by "help me in recording" - it's just an effects processor like your gt6...

I will let you slide because I happen to be a big Rush fan :) but turn off that octave setting

Yes I'm asking if It could be good let GT6 Work togheter with Guitar RIG 4
and today i discover an alternative to M-Audio maybe a Line 6 POD X3
is that a good alternative?

I'm not really to sure what you are trying to say here...........

1. Before laying out money on the 410 I would check online for package deals. There are many and for a few hundred dollars they will have all the hardware to at least get started. You can always upgrade later.

2. Don't waste your money on guitar rig yet. There are hundreds of free amp simulators out there that sound just as good as guitar rig. Also why buy new pedals if you are going to use an amp sim anyway? You can add all of those effects from within the DAW.

in italy used M-audio is for 120 euros
what do you mean for package deals (any line 6 pod stuff?)

on the last speech I meant to put a mic on the head/cabinet marshall amplier I have

You have some nice gear to make nice noise.... you have very little to record it with. If you spent all that money assembling nice gear, perhaps spending a bit of money and time on learning to record, which doesn't necessairly involve plugging everything directly into your computer, would be a good idea.

I'm not, for instance, seeing a microphone in your list....

Just sayin'

I love my gear i just miss an sort of gibson/emg/noflyodsrose guitar and a good pedal as blackstar
What i can do with a microphone? sing????

I Think i really miss an audio card
plug my mixer to my pc seem cheap but it works!
