Hey TAE!

He’s a good friend of mine down here in SoFlo and was bouncing around SoCal in the late ‘70s and early/mid ‘80s. Had a wicked smack banging habit but is 25 years sober now. Killer musician and rocks da keys like a G
 
His band is house at Seminole Hard Rock Casino Hollywood since they opened in 2004. Badass dude so thought I’d drop the name and see if you guys ever crossed paths
 
No I don't know of him but there were a shit ton of players in LA at the time...My band Cheap Day Return was from the San Gabriel Valley and we were prog rock.
We did play Hollyweird several times Gazaries, Starwood, Troubador. never did the Whiskey, We also headlined at the Hollywood Palladium.
I had an Elka string ensemble, Hammond M3 with a 910 leslie and a Roland SH3 synth ran through a echo machine...screaming through a peavey musician with 4 12's...good times.

I haven't talked to Dave in years but I think he's still around...me n EZ are in touch ..

I'm actually down in San Diego the week of your gig and am already in hot water cause I have to do a gig on the 27th at the Toyota center in Ontario...The Boss ain't happy because we're supposed to be on vacation...she can't understand why I just couldn't tell the band I couldn't make it. :eek: We actually come back home on the 29th and if she hasn't killed me MAYBE I can sneak down there and see you guys do your thing....maybe. When do you head back to Florida?

Btw, gonna live in Indy for a bit so we can rehearse and maybe do some more old man, chasing our youth gigs from the whisky. Same promoter and she thinks we can make her money and vice versa so we’ll see what happens
 
And when I say “money” I mean club circuit kind of stuff for a little money, enough to pay for expenses while I still do my day job on laptop in afternoons. But I dig getting back into playing live and I’ll follow it where it takes me

I am looking forward to watching the clear night skies for real. A lot of UAP activity is around San Clemente and SoCal/northern Baja area which is cool
