Hey Muttley, I've bought a cheap (very cheap) guitar to learn some very basic things about guitar construction, maintenance, modification, etc. I believe I showed you the guitar before - its a 38 euro piece of crap, for sale on Thomann.

Anyway, I am in the process of cutting an intonated saddle from bone, and am also fashioning a new nut. I'm also trying to teach myself some very basic fretwork - levelling numerous high frets, removing razor-sharp ends, etc.

I'll keep you posted.
