HELLO EVERYONE!!!!
Just "spoke" with Moskus, meaning I'm sitting on MSN and he signed in this morning and I asked how he was going. I checked up on how his knee was.. all is good on that front. He is complaing about the heat (29C) and the fact that he is busy at work. He said he is going to pay a visit here and at another site soon.
I asked him if he had any words of wisdom (other than it's better out than in) and he asked me to pass on the following:
On a more personal note, I've started a new job as a Systems Administrator for our Sydney office. There is only one other Sys Admin in Australia, so we support the other offices. I've learn't a hell of a lot, a load more quicker than my previous job.
I haven't done much recording of recent time, however as I aways have said I'm going to get into it soon. I had to rebuild my PC on the weekend thanks to a stupid idea of my own to install linux and letting the installer re-partition my multi-boot system. It took me about 3 hours to fix all up, wasn't too painful, just annoying!
However, on a music front, I went to a concert recently and saw a guy who is turning into one of Australia's best (mainly country) songwriters... anyway, he wants me to send him some of my stuff, I'm guessing for his next album which he is recording in a couple of months.. if it works out, that might be the key in the door for me.. I'm not going to send it, I'm actually going to see him in a couple of weeks.. I should know something from that meeting.
