I think there is a problem with the Kick track that you uploaded to the server. It doesn't line up and it doesn't sound as though it is in sync. I tried opening the file in Media Player and it won't open. The Snare track opened fine. Could someone please confirm that for me?

Also, I appologise for not being around that much of recent times. I've been tired (physically) plus my work is changing. I'm doing more admin work along with my current job and from what I've heard I'm going to be taking on even more admin work (I should be mostly technical). So basically I'm doing the work of about 2 people at the moment and I'm going to be taking on about another .25 of a persons job.

Congrats on the 4000 James!!!

I also want to apologize. I am the current hold up on BPOM. I am going to do a final vocal take but I haven't been able to get to it lately as I have been extremely busy. Part of the busy is the holiday season, part work and part with something happening on the songwriting front. All these things sort of keep pulling at me. I was hoping to get to it over Thanksgiving weekend, but I just couldn't shake loose from the company. I will get to it, I just need to beg your patience. :)

Anyway, you guys are not the only one who gets bussy these days. I think it usualy happens when we (office workers) get closer to end-of-year period. As for myself, I have to work 6 AM in the morning (that's it! I must be in the office before everyone attends) and back home around midnight after working evaluation and create some reports. In a good side, they offer bonuses and compensation, but in the other hand, I must spend my time 18 hours to work. They even called me sometime to go to office around midnight to finish things that will be used in the morning after. So... take your time, buddies. It's been fun so far, and nothing can stop it I'm sure. Everything will be just fine :)

Pedulist - you can go with my mix if you want, but I'm warning you, the only people who will actually be heard in the mix are those who have sent me cash. :) :D :)

I guess this is gonna sound funny with nothing but BG vocals.

On a serious note. . . Lt Bob tells me the sax tracks are recorded and will be in the mail to me shortly. (The Lt. doesn't do .mp3's, he sends you an audio CD.) Once I get the CD I will rip the tracks to a wave file(s). I can post them on the server either as a wave or an .mp3. For those who wish to enter the mix contest (and lose to the almighty Dachay :D ) what does everyone want?

BTW, Lt Bob's dog has cancer and went in for surgery today. I haven't heard how he made out, but if you want to PM your support, I imagine he would appreciate it.

Might you be able to have a look at the Kick track for me? I think it is either corrupt or there is a problem with the encoding.

Hey I don't care who knows. This song is a real bitch to sing (for me anyway). I couldn't do a set of this song, that's for sure. At least not in the state my voice is in now. All help that makes me sound fabulous is appreciated :D

All right Hey Moskus Band bandmates. I am seriously studying the vocals and lyrics in the original versoin. From that endevor, I have a challenge for you. At 3:09 in the original version there is a softly sung phrase. I can't for the life of me make it out. I can make out every word of the rest of the song, ad lib phrases and all at the end of the piece except for this one. I'd love to hear what you all think it says. If nothing else maybe we can reach a concensus on what we think it says so I don't sound like a total jack ass when it is finally sung. :D.

Ok...here's my first attempt at deciphering it :D.

It sounds like..."Oh I'd like to Donna" kind of slurred together.

OK..that's my first shot at it. What do you guys think it says.

I was actually going to try to attempt a vocal tonight because my wife went to be early, but I'm having hardware problems (my speakers. So I figured becoming intimately familiar with the lyrics would be a good thing to spend some time on anyway. :D
