It wants Realplayer. I don't allow Realplayer to reside on my computer.
 
About time somebody posted some jazz. Loved the bass break at about the 2:10 mark, your bass playing is really solid throughout. The vibraphone was cool, it's a pretty believable sample....what keyboards did you use for the vibes and brass sounds ? The rhythm fell apart a little bit during one section of the song, but overall it kicked ass. Well done Q.
 
Thx Wide!, I used a Yamaha's vibra-sample for the vibe-phones
and for the horns, now get this, I ran it thru a Zoom 505! The 505
has at the most 3,useable patches 1 of which is suitable for brass samples. The rest suck!
 
Whew. I was thinking, what if misterques work is not up to par, what will I reply.

BUT its awesome. VERY powerful. Very loud. For some reason, I could hear this on the shaft soundtrack. It sounds Isaac hayesish.

I like the drum sounds. The horns are BIG.

Great job. THe only thing I can find to pick at is the 2 seconds of noise at the start.
 
Damn lets DISCO baby!:D , great bass and horns Q and a really quality recording. Was begining to think you were like monty, all talk and no show:rolleyes: Enjoyed the track.
 
I don't use Real Player either, so I went to Nowhere to listen to the tune you put up there, but it refused to download. Life just doesn't want me to listen to your stuff right now. But I'm glad you've started putting stuff up on the web.

that's slammin man....Im not a big fan of jazz but thats a damn good arrangement,well played and recorded.....you've definitely been holding out on us....

man I hope it doesnt take another 2 years to hear a tune from you....I was hoping to hear some nasty ass booty smackin funk.......

Aww Mr. Q, my stupid computer won't play in hi-fi except for just bits and pieces and i can't seem to download the song either. :( I can tell it would be a great song if i could just hear it.

If you can, go to Artist Launch, login, click on the song, and check off all 3 options under Song Properties, and then click Update This Song.....

About the song... well, I can definitely hear that beer was somewhat involved in it... ;)
Methinks the vibraphone is just a tad loud. And so the noise in the beginning. Otherwise, no complaints from here.

awwwwright!.......vibes and horns sounds really nice....but that bass is tasty ......

did you record the bass direct or mic it?...I messed with the eq in winamp to punch it up a bit, but not much....

I'm down with Gidge about wanting some nasty funk too....

Great job Mr. Q! I loved the arrangement of the instruments and the bass was superior. I want to hear more about how you got the brass out of that keyboard. What keyboard was it? I danced my booty off!
