What are you thoughts on it for a vocal mic (or anyone else....of course)?

You know I've been a big dynamic fan but I'm thinking of adding a reasonable quality LDC to the collection and I've got my eye on a clean one.
It only has the mk219s to compete with.

Any thoughts?

Nah, I don't get to try it out but I suppose I could ask for an audio clip and/or pics of the capsule.
The whole thing looks very well cared for on the outside.

I almost exclusively use the 7b for vocals, so I thought something new might be worth a try.

Are they known to be problematic?
It's through ebay, so it can be returned if anything's wrong on arrival.

The most obvious problems would be with the diaphragm. After being plugged in for awhile you might get a farting noise from the two shorting out.

There are enough fart noises at my place without the microphones getting involved.
