Kinda hard to find neat products at very good prices that will compete with stuff from Musician's Friend and Guitar Center when you're working out of your living room in Krum, Texas. There's no point in selling stuff that you can get cheaper at your local music store.
There are a few places where you can buy the same headphones that I'm selling. But most of those places don't stock them, add a ton of dollars to the shipping price, take forever to ship them, and then, they'll pretend that they've never heard of you if something goes wrong. That's what I ran into when I tried to buy a few pair for myself.
When I found a major distributor nearby, I cleaned him out of every pair in his warehouse - about 48 sets. When his new sets of headphones arrived, I again cleaned him out of every pair, and every pair in his Atlanta warehouse - about 160 pair.
But I did ask about a discount if I bought his entire stock, and I DID get a discount - 21 cents off every pair. Oh, did I mention his new price list had (and I paid) a dollar increase per set, compared to his old price list?
Mic stands are hard because the big stores are buying them for a lot cheaper price than I can. It's hard to find cheap haedphone extension cables because the name brands have that market sewed up, especially Radio Shack. I still think (because it's not a big market), I can find a better deal and I'm looking for it right now.
