i got me an acoustic today. from GC, the guy there was nice, he wasnt to busy so he had the full hour to devote to me and trying all the acoustics, well....



i got a applause ovation or ovation by applause yeah you know. got it used for 124 bucks, hey i thought it was a pretty good deal and i like it alot. got me a slide and some elxiers and im good to go!

I use open E tuning but other people use different ones, like G or even EADGBE (clever buggers !). I generally keep one guitar tuned specifically for slide as I have the action set really high however as you have an acoustic, I don’t know that this is going to be an issue.
