Transformers just look to me like a bunch of Shogun Warrior wannabees. Anyone remember the Shogun Warriors?

Probably before any 'a you young gun's time.

Man Optimus Prime would MINCE those crazy toys. Just to get it back to DJL - they look like cheap Chinese-made toys to me? Did you encounter any QC issues?:D

Oh, no doubt the Transformers are of the best British build, just like, uh, Rover cars and, uh, the Beagle 2 Mars lander.:D

I was wondering more about the QC of chess' Shogun Warriors. Hell, they even look like futuristic samurais.:rolleyes:

Shoguns were cool. They were about two feet tall and you could launch their fists. Back in those days toys were big and GI Joe had a beard.
 
I remember the fist-launching experience. Oh yea. I had the big green Godzilla, too. Bet yer ass I did.
 
shoguns were cool, but they didn't hold a candle to Micronauts. anyone remember those things?

and i had one of those green stretchy godzilla things too.......kinda looked like the Kraken from Clash of the Titans. well, at least until he busted and goo went everywhere.

transformers......eh......i'm waiting for the revival so i can unload my lot on ebay and make enough to buy a lawson. :p

Who in their right mind could not appreciate micronauts ? !


I used to take 'em apart all the time . . . so you'd see two micronauts running around with the other guy's legs and their right and left arms swapped, etc.

Poor guys.
 
Micronauts were made of metal no? A leathal weapon when defending yourself against an attack by your older brother. I threw one at his face and he had to get stiches on his eyebrow.

I dont feel bad.

yeah, micronauts were a combination of metal and plastic. lots of shooting pieces and little parts for kids to choke on. check out <http://www.micro-outpost.com>. :D a friend and i used to use the "cannons" from the Battle Cruiser as guns. that was a lot of fun, shooting huge rubber ball darts at each other. the rocket tubes, though, were da bomb.


ya know, i really think i need to change my screen name to Baron Karza......
