"Wipe Out" is Wicked and "ChoppinBlocks" is a nice song.
that "Wipe Out" joint reminds me of those raves i used to go to on 6th street in Austin Texas. add some claps to "Wipe Out" and you have yourself a nice Baltimore House track.

Hmm..Thanks, I'll try that :D

You have some interesting things going on. I would def work on straying away from monosynths, work on layering, and developing your tracks. Keep it up.

:P Nice, Good advice, I'll work on that as well, being I have over 100 Annoying songs such as these, I will have plenty to work with. I'll start adding layer's & what not to it...Thanks for the advice.

i definitely need to learn chords and i think he would also benifit tremendously from learning keys also. i think if he layers like you said and/or get some nice quality soundfonts and vst's he'll be headed in good direction. other areas could use some work, but that'll be a good start.

Hmm...Thanks for the post, good idea's..I'll take them to heart & try my best, once I work out something that sounds decent to me, I'll keep ya'll updated on it. Thanks for all the posts! :D

I was feelin Chopin' Block. The rest need a little work. Like the others were saying layering is the key. I say keep on layering until you can't layer any more, and then began to take things away. That's what I used to do, still do matter of fact. Also you might want to try to structure your beatz, like 8 bar intro, 8 bar hook, 16 bar verse. That way they're ready for use. Also try transition sounds or drum patterns, when going between diffrent sequences. One more thing I suggest. Try picturing an MC when you make your beatz too. Like say you envision J on this one, Luda on this one, or Snoop on this one...Definately keep at it though. The more you make the better you'll get.

I like the comment, Very helpful. I like the Structure part, I never really considered that I just "made" them ya know, I'm startin' out slow, I have 80 Beats of my own, All needing work. Just as I stated above, Choppin' Blocks was assisted. wasn't all my work, I won't take 100% Credit for it either., But, The rest, all me, cept some samples, but I will work harder, & Proceed to get better, Thanks for the encouraging comments, they were very helpful.. I'm gonna post more when I make some better ones, with Layers..Thanks again

:EDIT: Rep Points For All Ya'll!

Alright ya'll asked for some layering, so that is exactly what I did, I found some time to just add a few more layers to the "Wipe out" Beat...It's a bit different, has alot more to it, that you have to listen for to get the real feel, But now, you want me to Remove some of them, so I am going to post the song, & Have everyones opinion on what I should change on it to make it a decent "listening" song. Here it is, Enjoy! (Or don't:) )

Comment as you wish, Make sure you check the first one before this one so you notice the difference in them, Thanks in advance.

Your getting the idea. Load up with layers, then start taking different layers out, and putting some of 'em back in until you find the hottest combinations of layers. One you got the best sequences keep those, then structure your sequences into song form.

Hmm...Alright...I'll do my best, & once I get it worked out, I'll post it up again, I just wrote another song that I'm gonna do so I'm gonna try & figure the production of the beats out first, then I'm gonna make a beat, record my voice (Possibly others if I can find anyone on here near me..ha!) But then I'll record the song & see what people think, I might post the lyrics pre-recording...But thanks for the advice once again...

Very nice ta see us helping each other! That's what it's all about. I've worked with a lot of producers who keep their production tips secret. But, I feel good if I can help someone out. I just remember when I was in the same shoes starting out and someone helped me out.

So ya, stay on doing what you love in music! :D
