Here is just a few of my numorous beats, Quite different style, probably not anyone's type, but I like listening to them every now & then, just to listen to them, & get idea's for other types...I will eventually do more with them than I have already but this is what I have so far, this is a few out of the 100+ That I have...Some aren't even worth keeping but I do, because I made them, & I'm proud of every work that I make..So comment as you wish, no lies please, Thanks in advance to those who take the time to listen...here are the links, if you can't click them, copy & paste them into your browsers URL to listen..

Ohhhhh, I just joined not too long ago actually...This month sometime, & I have replied to alot of other peoples music, I listened to quite a few of peoples actually. Was quite impressed with the talent that's not on record labels as well...I'm a white boy, & I just recorded my first rapsong LOL...Worst thing anyone ever did hear, if you feel up to laughin', check it out,
-- Just about me when I was 5 & got into a fight with a 2nd grader & about my Pyro childhood & all that shit, it's really lame, but check it out if ye' have time...But I do understand what you mean, I will do that. Thanks for the info & thanks for replyin'. :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :cool:

:( I know I know...I'm not good :(...I need assistance on makin' them thats for sure...I know that much...I wanted honest opinions & I thank you for being honest, But if you have ANY pointers whatsoever, let me know, I'm using Fruity Loops, as of now. but if you have any pointers that will help me, please tell me..I need all the help I can get as you can tell...:(...& the sad thing is I posted the best of my beats :(...well...thanks anyways...help if you can...

yea' that was one of my very first songs I didn't mean to put some of those up because they sucked so majorley but I thought I would :D, Thanks for pointing out how bad I really suck though, Encourages me to try harder I suppose. :)

What up! Don't get ya head down! And don't second guess yourself!!!! It took me years to learn how ta make hot beats. Man, you should hear some of my sh*t from 1999. It was weeeeeeeeaaaaak!!! :eek: But, ya man I'll give ya some pointers. I mostly use Reason, but it's all the same... ;)
 
Layer

Your on the right track with Choppin Blocks. Try ta cut up the sample more and use different parts to make your own melodies. And layer your drums. It needs ta hit harder. Use a snare and a clap. Layer those man! Use 2 claps and pan it left right! ;) Layer a high kick and a nice low 808. That will make it FAT! :cool:

Thanks for the info on that, could help if my friend hadn't lost the FLP File, so now I can't edit the Choppin' Blocks song anymore, & He helped me with the melody & the bassline, so yea', But!..if you have any ideas' or assistance with Fruity OR Reason, bieng I have both of them...let me know, e-mail me or somethin I need all the help I can get, thanks in advance, also thanks for the comments :D

"Wipe Out" is Wicked and "ChoppinBlocks" is a nice song.
that "Wipe Out" joint reminds me of those raves i used to go to on 6th street in Austin Texas. add some claps to "Wipe Out" and you have yourself a nice Baltimore House track.
 
Bellistic sounds like a cracked out atonal phillip glass :D



You have some interesting things going on. I would def work on straying away from monosynths, work on layering, and developing your tracks. Keep it up.

i definitely need to learn chords and i think he would also benifit tremendously from learning keys also. i think if he layers like you said and/or get some nice quality soundfonts and vst's he'll be headed in good direction. other areas could use some work, but that'll be a good start.
