btw, remember I asked you about hooking up a DR-8 via stereo S/PDIF to computer? Hope so... You told me i would have syncing issues, when transporting several tracks seperately, due to word clock variations. Now i was told that S/PDIF can transport the clock signal itself. I would just need to set word clock to external for the soundcard...

Could you confirm that?

I'm not all that familiar with SPDIF, but that sounds right! :)

But you need the DR-8 to respond to the SMTPE via SPDIF, and I can't help you there.. ;)




I just qouted my old post, and changed the color... Maybe i should change the 4 to 5 too? :D
