I record/jam with Logic Pro 7 on a G4 with the following equipment:

Digitech Synth Wah
Samson Q mic (pair)
Boss Compressor/Sustainer
Shure SM58 vocal mic
Fender 1270 stage monitor
Samson condenser mics (2)
Boss Digidelay
Remo Djembe 14"
Arial Acoustic Guitar
Australian Didgeridoo
Yamaha MG124FX 12-Channel Mixer with DFX
Edirol PCR-80 midi keyboard
Crown XLS402 preamp
Washburn HB-30D
Washburn HB-30 w/ soft case
LP Aspire Conga + Bongo set w/ stands
Boomerang
Samson Rubicon Monitors (2)
Edirol FA-101 Interface
JBL speakers (2)
Gibson SG faded series w/ soft case
Roland AC100 Acoustic Amp
Fender Twin Reverb Amp
Gibson J-45 Acoustic Guitar w/ hard case

What would you do?

I would pick up the J45 and play Richie Havens' "Freedom" until all the strings broke. Then I would sell the rest of the gear, except the djembe, use the proceeds to roll a big spliff and smoke that fattie while I played the djembe, naked in the woods under a full moon.

WWSD?

I would plug everything in.. crank it all up to 4, then.. then.. pick up the J45 and play Richie Havens' "Freedom" until all the strings broke.

Don't forget to have it set up in the woods, and to dance as you play...naked.

Oh yeah, and take lots of those everready bunny things along with ya!! :D

Usually, whenever I am going to buy anything, I
1)Know why I want it
2)Know what it is supposed to do
3)Know how/where I am going to plug it into stuff I already have.

But that's just me!

Oh yeah, Richie Havens rules! :)

Doesn't he play Guilds though?

Arrange all the gear in a big circle, then get in the middle with your Guild tuned to open E, and have at it.

Looks like somebody just likes posting gear lists everywhere......

I would build a fort out of the whole pile, except for the boomerang, which I would throw at kids in my yard.

sell a bunch of the mics and hope to get one good one....

oh yeah what kind of cables have you got?

Took the words right out of my mouth. Seems like Jonari woke up one morning and found all that gear under his pillow.

seriously, why buy things if you don't know how to set it up?

I'd sell everything except for the Fender Twin Reverb and Gibson J-45 and start over. Do you want to play live shows or do you want to record? You have a full PA system there I believe...thats not going to help you with recording. A Gibson SG with a Fender Twin Reverb??? Come on...don't lie...you bought that SG because it was the cheapest SG and a decent Gibson logo. You want a Les Paul Standard or an American Fender for that amp...with a good overdrive pedal. Also...a good condensor and preamp would go along way.
Just my thoughts.

Good luck!
