Hello. Here is a mix of my band's latest, "This Could Be". Any feedback on the mix would be appreciated if you have the time. Thanks!

The percussives (cymbals & rim) seems Left & centre with no percs on the right - this gives a slight imbalance in the stereo image.
The rhythm guitar in the R channel could be a little toppier - it doesn't quite bite.
The intro is overly long - I was left wondering if you'd had a genre mishap. perhaps just a little guitr or bass to give a lead into the full rhythm after a few bars.
Nice song, natty playing. Well done one & all.

Thanks for the comments, rayc. I'll keep them in mind when I head back to mixing the next version. :)

Nice song and great vocals, the guitars are just a bit too squeaky, but cool track anyway

Nice clean tones. Thick vocals and the drums are awsome. Whatd you use to mic those druums?

The vocals are really nice here, just a great feel to this song. Definitely downloading this one  Reminds me of 311's "amber" when you/she meantions "the energy" Must be cool being in Hawaii writing songs, I write enough ocean/island/pirate songs living in Phoenix, things might get crazy if I really was on an island :D Anyway, mixwise, nothing really to add ontop of what RayC said, sounded good!

Thanks for the comments guys!

For recording the drums, I know we used the sm57 for the snare and another on the toms. The drummer had some drum overhead condensors and a bass drum mic, not sure of the brand. I think we used 5 mics altogether. Would have used more but we ran out of mic stands. ha!
