i just got done recording something and when i got to export as a wav. file at a sample rate of 96000 and sample size of 32 bit it renders fine but then when i play it in windows media player its all super loud and distorted

You're not going to make a whole lot of allies here by bumping your thread after only 8 MINUTES!

The first question is why would you want to play back a 96k/32bit file in a colored piece of crap like WMP?

Does it play back in your editor? If so, that's all you should need. If it doesn't, then you editor may have a problem with exporting WAV at that resolution.

Try exporting it with a 44.1khz sampling rate and 16-bits. This is what CDs need anyway.
