Ok here goes nothing :D

I would really appreciate it to who ever anwers this question cause it's kind of hard to answer. Ok i'm trying to build a new computer to do music with and i need some SPECIFIC advice on what specific parts i should get and a link would be nice. (E.g what RAM, Processor, Motherboard, Soundcard) and any other parts that's would be good to do music with so please be SPECIFIC on which brand and model type and a link please if possible. thanks
 
Please define "to do music with" - specifically WHAT do you want to do with the music?

A $299 Dell will do music.

Do you want to record? If yes, what?
What's your budget?
 
yes, please elaborate on what do you want your computer to do for you when it comes to music? Just play it? Record single tracks? just Mix? multi-tracking? video production stuff?
