I need help really badly!!!,
Well, I want to make good electronic music. I know about the drum machines and synths, but I thought a 4-8 track would be good. That way I can layer sounds from various sources. I am thinkin' of getting a Tascam 414mkII Ministudio, but I have a few questions:
1. If I already recorded a track, can I listen to it while recording another track?
2. When I am reading to mix the song, Can I mix a track live, or does the sound need to be programmed into the multi-track then mixed?
3. What are the advantages of a 8 track over a 4 track? The 8 track just lets you layer 8 sounds at once, right?
Andrew!
