Help!!!

I am just beginning a home studio for my band and have no clue as to where to start. I have a Fostex VF-16, a Pentium 4 1.8 GHz computer with 256MB RDRAM, a Sound Blaster Live 1024 sound card, a 64MB NVIDIA AGP graphis card,and an 80GB hard drive. None of us know anything about the digital world of music but have a lot of stuff that needs recording. Any help would b greatly appreciated.

I didn't see any software on your list. If you intend to use your computer, you might want to check the recent discussion in the Newbie forum regarding "Multitrack Starter Software".

Once you get the software, spend some time reading the manual and learning how the software works. From there you should have some idea of what direction you need to take.
