I am looking for a USB interface to record to my computer. I want to be able to record at least 2 mics at a time and 2 line inputs at a time. Preferably it would come with recording software. Also, what problems come along with using this type of interface? thanks

The apogee doen't have gain control for the mics?

I thought that one knob controlled the gain of anything plugged into it.

I just was the one knob. What if you need more gain on one mic than the other?:p

Whats up man!!!

Take a look at the Fast Track Pro. M-Audio has pretty decent preamps installed in most of their lineup. Im using a regular Fast Track usb and im getting pretty damn good results for what im working with. But the Fast track pro has everything your looking for.......I think? I use Sonar 7 xl for my sequencer and my fast track works flawlessly with my sequencer. I am also using a shure sm57 mic..................and thats about it man......

I have less than 300 dollars wrapped up in my studio and im getting pretty good results........Not professional by any means but definetly good.

If you want you can check out what the sound will be like.....my webpage link should be right under this post.

Also the Fast Track Pro if im not mistaken has better preamps than the regular fast track.

Anyway......just another example for ya

CHEERS!!!!!!!
