My friend and I got finished with a recording session today.
We exported cubasesx files from my comp. to his Hard drive.
When he tried to export them on his it showed an error????

Could be million things, but most likely:
You didn't set the locators. These are the little arrow things at the top of the dark blue bar above the editing window. They set the beginning and end of the workspace. If they are both set at the same place, you are basicly telling cubase to export less then a single sample, in other words, nothing.

What error did it show? How was your computer setup to export to his harddrive? Was he ruinning a legit copy of cubase and was it the same version?

Thanks

I'm a new user so like you said, it can be anything. :)
I think it may be some sort of file transfer error because I only have this problem with one of the hard drives. My D drive doesn't do this.

Hi,

The best thing you can to is capture the error your getting and post it here. Then we can diagnose what the problem might be.
