OK.. What is wrong with this song..?

Genre: hmm.. effect-rock or something..?

All comments wanted.. :)

The mix as a whole sounds muffled to my ears.

I beg you to reconsider your use of the auto-tuned Cher effect on the vocals. It's been soooooooo overdone.

I'll be honest, even at just over 4 minutes, I had a hard time sitting through the whole song. The effects are way overdone, and the song just doesn't really go anywhere.

I really like some of the guitar stuff, mainly the piece at the beginning that comes in again at the end.

Ok, I'm not going to comment the production (at least not much hehe) only the mixing part
The overall sound is quite muddy and there is some really crazy bass down there. Dunno if you like it, but I found it quite disturbing heh (It is the 808 boom rite? I think it could use some tweaking, more punch). Guitars are nice, but at the moment they burrow the vocal. You need to tweak those a bit.
The vocal itself.. First of all, to be honest I don't like that autotune effect at all :o It is just so overused. I would seriously consider a bit more dry vocals too (that delay part is nice thou, would be awesome contrast).
So overall I would say this: double check your EQs especially at the guitars (might be good idea to check around 150-350+hz) and work a bit that boom.

Kainz & Ignition.. thx very much for your comments, i'm really glad for your response..

I've had the song out of the house tonight, and listened to it in a better environment that my own lo-budget home studio.. :(
Bummer experience, I really need to invest much more in the monitor field, than the crapy ones i have..

First of all, the vocals, i'm not at all pleased with 'em, hopefully they are going to be replaced soon by a better singer.. (oh yeah.. it's me..)
The autotune-cher effects..? haha I know.. I coudn't help it.. i just had to do it, at least one time..

The boom (no it's not an 808, its a heavy processed kick sample.. :) ) i definetly has to work a bit on that.. somethings not right there.. but how do you feel about the drum effect in overall..? I deliberately went for a "discrete" drum feel..(i know it's not discrete, its far to dominate, and it will be corrected..) but I just dont like the "oh this could be a real drumset, but its midi.." feeling..
if its a drum machine, i think that it's ok that it sounds as one.. (I know it definetaly needs some tweaking.. :) )

Yeah, and thanks again for commenting..
