help withmy set up

i currently have my mic runing through a presonus eureka preamp and the out from that goes into the input of a antares avp1 (which i just bought) and the out from that goes into my br1180 mutlitrack where i do my recording on...now here is the situation before the Antares the preamp ran straight to the br1180 with no proplem but now im getting a whole lot of air..something wrong with my set up? did i connect soemthing wrong? anyone here have the antares avp1? im using balanced cables, does that make a difference or should i be using mono? thanks again for all your help

The Antares line in and line out are both unbalanced. And by the way, unbalanced vs. balanced has nothing to do with stereo or mono.
