Help with WAV files, please!

Here's the problem. I have small WAV files (about 5 different ones) that I want to string together to make 1 WAV file. They are small drum loops, but I want to combine to make one large wav file to transport to my recorder as the drum track. Is there a program I can download that will accomplish this? Is it free?

If you just want to line them up end to end any 2-track editor will do. If you want the tracks side by side all playing together then you really need multi-track. Audacity and Reaper are the first things that come to mind, and both should do either of the above.
