I just moved into the 2nd story of my two story apartment to find a walk in closet...I want to convert it into a vocal booth for rap music and such...how would I go about doing that???

The closet is 4ft x 4ft wide and 8ft high...how can I set that up into a booth for a rap artist (meaning I dont use drums or guitars  )..

Hang up all the clothes in there you normally would, put a mic on a stand in there, and go. :) Chances are you'll get a fairly decent sound that way.

no clothing

the closet isnt ment for clothing it has all the cleaning supplies in it and vacuum and stuff wich i plan to take out if the closet booth turns out to work..so excluding clothing what else could I use??? (free or pay for material)

What I was getitng at is that you need absorption. It's SUCH a small space that it's going to be extremely boomy. The low ends are going to bounce around like crazy. What you need is a massive amount of bass trapping. Check this out What we can do is try to help you learn the stuff yourself so you understand what you're doing instead of following blindly. Most people here aren't too keen on simply giving away information, we want the person asking questions to actively take a roll in learning the stuff.
