Tascam DP-02.
I was recording a very fast tempo metal song with guitar today and since I can´t record it with one shot from beginning to end (because of the speed) we tried to do it in 3 parts. When the first part was recorded I took a little break, then rewinded that track a little and pushed play button and started to play guitar along with the track. Then my friend pushes the rec button just before the first part ends and so the second part is going to the track and the song continues and so on. But when we listen that part where the rec button was pushed sometimes there is a clearly noticeable gap (like 1 second silence) and sometimes it just sounds a bit odd like it don´t start to record immediately after the rec button is being pushed. Sometimes it sounds as it should be and you cannot notice that the song is recorded in several parts. Is the signal too high, wrong input/equipment or what could cause this? The OL light is not blinking at any point. Or is there some latency occasionally if rec button is pressed while playback?
