help with recording roland electric drums

Does anybody have any suggestions on getting a bigger fuller sound when recording from a roland electric drumset module. i've gotten weak sounds in the past and wish to improve. my setup is a mackie 1202 pro with SB Platinum and Cakewalk pro audio. thanks...
 
You might want to check your signal chain - I've tracked Roland's V-Drums many times and I never get anything less than a very full sound!!!

Can you explain exactly what you mean when you say you're not getting a "full sound"?
