I've been trying to set up MIDI compositions using the Mix mode and assigning voices to each channel, then recording them in Cakewalk Pro Audio 9. The problem is, when I play the keyboard to record one sound, it plays them all.
I did go through each channel and assign KEYBOARD to OFF, and MIDI INPUT and MIDI OUTPUT to ON. I have also posted in the Cakewalk forum, but no luck so far.
Is there a way to set it up so the channel(s) I wish to record are the only ones that I hear when I play the keyboard?
