Help with my mixer please

Hi!
I have done a search and read tons of posts about the mixer I have (behringer MX3282a no booing please LOL) but they mostly are just opinions about the product and not much about function issues.
It came with a manual and I even downloaded the pdf file. I was wondering if there were any FAQ sites that anyone has seen on this mixer.
One of the problems I have is it refers to sections by numbers as many manuals do. The problem is there is no picture to show the numbers. Now I know many of you are very experienced in these matters but I simply am not.
I am running into lots of question and I dont want to just keep posting generic questions if there is a way I can help myself.
I am a VERY new beginer and trying hard to learn and retain info so I dont waste anyones time.
Any help or knowledge of any sites or specific forums would be GREATLY appreciated!!!

Mixers generally (very broad generalization) work the same: eqing, groups, aux sends/returns, faders, blah blah blah...they're all gonna be there regardless of the brand or quality. Here's a good place to start:

Click on "mixing" and you'll find some good articles about what all the stuff on the board is there for, as well as how to hook it all up.
