Help With My Boss Br-1180 recorder

Ive recorded a song but cant seem to pass it on to cd....i go through the whole proccess of burning on to a cdr... it burns, cd says complete, but when i play cd...NOTHING!! What gives?? Wrong cds? Im using 'cd-r' btw
 
Did you tell the recorder to finalize the CD? Otherwise its waiting to burn more tracks to it.
 
Yes it goes through the whole proccess on its own...writing, then it says finalizing, then it says complete...im baffled!
 
Doesn't this boss recorder have the mastering tracks, where you have to mix the song down to the "master stereo track" or whatever they call it, and that master stereo track is what gets burned to CD.

Does that sound familiar? Did you do something like that?

Or maybe I don't know what I am talking about. That's a good possibility as well. :)
 
I looked at the manual and the mastering tracks are 9/10.

Do you have the song mixed down to tracks 9 and 10?
 
Yes its on 9/10....mastered...thats what i did....nada!

Your screen shot of the LCD shows 'Backup' - that's saving the files in the Boss format, not as WAV or WMA.
 
I tried every single form of recording or passing to cd...lol till i got one that worked.
