I have a couple of mixes recorded in Pro Tools Free and saved as PT5 files.

I am having problems trying to save these as .wav files. The program offers no choice of file format to save to. At least none that I've been able to find.

I thought that the PTF saved these as .PT5 files and .Wav files at the same time.

Can someone give me some help on this? I'd like to post them to the internet in the future and play them on my machine here at home without having to open PTF to hear them but I don't know how to save them in a recognizable format for most players.

Hopefully somebody more familliar with it will jump in but you probably need to look for a Mix Down, Render File or Bounce to Disk option.

I saw a bounce option in there but I didn't pay any attention to it because I wasn't bouncing tracks.

But if it was for bouncing file formats, I'll have to have another look.

Thanks.

Anyone else?

Problem solved.

They could've labled the damn selection a little better than that.

obviously they did label it bounce, you just didn't know what that meant. It's supposed to be "Pro Tools" for the "Pro's."
