Hullo,
New to the digital domain here. I am using a Behringer DDx 3216 digital mixer to mix to an Alesis ADAT LX20. I have the adt lightpipe module for the mixer that allows digital connection via fiber. I cannot get any audio thru to the adat. I think I have it configured right on both ends (again, I am a newbie). Is there only one type of fiber out there? Or am I using the wrong type. I have Hosa brand cable, I see red light at the ends when I have it connected. Any help would be MUCH appreciated.

cheers

If you're trying to input audio TO the ADAT, you must set the ADAT to digital input.

Yeah, I have the inputs set correctly. I switched my output routing to direct in and can get to the adat that way, however this eliminates all fader control. The default setting for the routing is from analog input (mic in this case) to bus1-2....I can get meter readings and audio in the headphones on the console, but no such luck getting to the adat....

ARRGGHHH...

thanks for the response

You have to route the signal to the busses, because there is no direct out on the channels.
