help with death metal mix

repost from mixing thread. im new to recording been playing guitar for about 10 years off and on. im using a line 6 into reaper with drum kit from hell and some vst effects on the guitar. im looking to get the best sound possible without having to buy anything else . any suggestions on what i can do to make my songs sound better .any input is appreciated thank you

I'll never "get" speed metal drums. I just picture a wind up toy monkey hitting his drum. anyway...

It's a little tough to fully comment on guitar tone without a bass. But I think the guitar might not have a strong enough low end. It doesn't have the "growl" I'd like to hear in a song like this. A bit on the fizzy side.
 
The timing is off guy. The elements make sense (saw the other thread, for death you have the sound element right).

Got to tighten up that playing though man.
 
The intro made me want to jump out my window. After that you lost me. I always rate my hardcore metal in terms of "hurt" factors. You have the babies falling from the skies sound just work on getting it in time. The drums have potential, just try organizing them a bit more to sound human per say. Please do not take this as direct hits, I am not trying to be rude in anyway. Good to see some metal made it on here.
 
yeah, I'd like to see a human drummer accurately recreate that drum track!
