Hey, I'm pretty new to all this.
I have Acid Pro 5, an M-Audio Delta 4/4 soundcard and a Yamaha MG10/2 mixing board. I also use my M-Audio Fast Track USB to record direct guitar.
First question: Is there any way to use effect plugins in Acid while I'm recording? So far I've only figured out how to add the effects to the track after it's been recorded, but this doesn't help when I want to use a distortion while recording and am too lazy to Mic my Marshall.
Second question: How do I record multiple tracks at once? I'm only using inputs 1 and 2 for a single stereo track, but I want to use my multitrack program as a multitrack program. Maybe use a separate mixer even because mine only has one bus.
