Hello,

I've got this annoying problem. The volume of my tracks with a mic and pre amp, that is vocals and acoustic guitar, is extremely low as compared to what I am hearing in my headphones. I have the line in faders up all the way in my sound card mixer but tracks are barely audible during playback at 0db.

Don't know why this is occuring. I'm trying to find a way into my system to see if all the setting are correct there but everything looks different since I added my 24 bit lynx one card.

I'd appreciate your input.
Thanks,
Rusty K

Could it be that I have to check "recording" instead of "playback" in my puter volume control properties?

Did I answer my own question? Is that why no one has posted with advice on this one.

hi,
maybe you can check your "WAV"ouput volume level in your volume controls for playback. unfortunately, i dont know anything about the "Lynx" card. sorry, hope this helps.

spacedye,

Both my imput volume and my playback volume are maxed in my soundcard mixer. While I'm recording the volume is just fine but when I go to listen to what I just recorded the tracks are audible but very quiet. I haven't had a session since clicking the record option versus "playback". That may still be the explanation.

Thanks,
Rusty K
