I have 2 mixes of the same song: 1 is my mix (which is a mixdown of a backing karaoke track and my compressed vocal track), and the other is a professional mix.
When I look at my mix, the waveform isn't very consistent. The professionally mixed version of the song has a consistent volume level. I tried compressing my entire mix at ratio 4:1, 30db Knee, and tested out different levels of gain, but I still do not have a nice consistent level.
I have attached pictures. Please shine some lights on this. I'm using Ultrafunk compressor.
