Help w/ recording using Mobile Pre.

I just bought my M-Audio pre amp, and for some reason I cannot record from my reason program into Cool Edit. When I go to record the only thing that records in cool edit is my microphone vocals that is hooked up to the Mobile Pre Amp. Before I hooked up my M-Audio pre I could record into Cool Edit, from both my keyboard, and my reason program, and CDs. I have checked all my volume settings on both reason, cool edit, and my operating system. When I record all I see is a flat blue line. Can anyone help me. Thank you.

It seems like your missing a bone in your "knee connected to the hip" signal chain..

With the new card, I think your gonna have to export your Reason stuff (instrumentals) into a Cool Edit track before you can record with them palying in your cans.
