I have just got the sw1000xg, and is very new to midi, and all its confusingness!!
Anyways, me mate tells me, that using cubase audio 3.5, I can change midi to audio, and tells me all I have to do export to audio, But arghhhhhh, fuck all happens, this is anoying, because, I really wanna be able to put the midi data into one track, so I have room for more, and so I can send my tunes to mp3 format, but there I have no possible knowledge of how to do this!!!!! SO PWLEASE, someone, help me of my misery!!!!

Since MIDI is only data commands that trigger audio samples, it cannot be converted to audio. You must record it. Solo the MIDI track(s) you want to record and Arm a track to record on ... press record. When done you have a digital audio track of your MIDI track(s). Hope this helps your confusion.

My knowledge on midi is about as much as I know about north african pengiuns (that equals none, including the fact that they dont actually exsist).
Im still a little confused though, I cant seem to figure out how to solo tracks (man I must be stupid). You see, I import my midi from XGworks, because it seems that XG works is the only compatible software with my SW1000XG, I mean, ive got cakewalk, but it buggers up everytime I set it up for my sound card (which it never used to do with me crappy SoundBlaster 64), which is a bastard, because cakewalk is so easy to use, and it cost me 330 pounds!
Ye so anyhows, I dont have anybar, which says armed, or solo on it, just impotred midi tracks!!!! Awwww, please, I hope someone can help me out here!!!!!

Bloody hell, its me second day here, and ive written 3 questions already!!!!!

Peace
