ok, i have a m-audio 49e midi keyboard...i have a Roland xv 5050 rack module...a set of studio monitors (all kinds of inputs on them). and its all running through my FIREPOD...so ill recap that for u.i have

-Firepod
-Roland XV 5050 rack module
-M-audio 49e midi keyboard
-Studio monitors

...how would i set this up? i need help!...thanx

yeah but then how will i get the sound from the xv-5050 (which can also be connected via usb to a computer). also im planning on getting more modules, most likely a motif module. wouldnt it make sense to have each module's audio out go to an in channel in the firepod? and i know that on the xv, they only have 1/4th inch outs, can u convert those to xlr with the firepod?

Ok,
I'll back pedal since I actually looked up your hardware :D

The 5050 has its own midi (the USB) so it does not need to be connected to the midi on the firepod. You can connected the audio via the digital spdif (probably the way to go) or just use the 1/4" analog since your firepod has the combo XLR TRS connections so you can use either on the front panel. I would assume that 1,2 are high gain inputs for guitars etc

Check your manual to see where they reccomend the monitors be plugged into.
