Hi,

I just finished multitracking and mixing my very first song in Cubase SX 2.0. I'm trying to do an audio mixdown of the song to mp3 so I can upload to Soundclick, and then post a link here to get some feedback from members. I was able to convert to mp3, but I think I must've chosen the wrong settings because when I try and upload to Soundclick, it won't upload. Can anyone please give me some advice on the right mp3 settings in Cubase (to get the best sound quality). Thanks.

Don't know if this helps, but the settings are usually something like this..
CBR or VBR, constant or variable bitrate. For soundclick, you probably should stick with cbr. I think they like 128 kbps and 44100 Hz sample rate stereo.
I don't use cubase, so don't know the exact spot for these options, but should be right there when you do the conversion. If you can't do it there, try doing it as a wav file, then using something like musicmatch to convert to mp3. Hope that helps.

Thanks Dogman. That does help. I'll try giving it another shot.
